Refunds & rescheduling
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for commissioned pricing insight work.
Eligibility overview
Fees cover professional time and prepared materials. Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and whether a deposit was paid to reserve a start date.
Deposits
Dashboard commissions and multi-week reviews usually require a deposit stated in the engagement letter. The deposit reserves analyst time. Working sessions and short corridor briefs may be invoiced in full without a separate deposit.
Full refund
If we cancel an engagement for reasons on our side before work starts, you receive a full refund of fees paid for that engagement. If you cancel in writing at least ten business days before the agreed start date and no substantive work has begun, deposits are refunded in full.
Partial refund
If you cancel after work has started — for example after scoping calls, definition sheets, or draft views — we invoice for work completed and refund any unused balance of fees paid. Completed stages are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed handover sessions and delivered briefs or dashboards
- Working sessions that already took place (including no-shows without twenty-four hours’ notice)
- Third-party costs expressly approved by you in writing (for example hired meeting rooms)
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a working session or workshop day once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.
No-shows
If your team does not attend a scheduled session without notice, the session fee is due in full. We will offer one alternative date within thirty days at our discretion.
Work already started
Draft charts, definition sheets, and partial dashboards prepared before cancellation remain our working materials unless the engagement letter transfers them. Fees for stages completed remain payable.
Refund process & timing
Email hello@reason-routecore.click with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval.
